Update criteria
This article was compiled based on Phuket Old Town Community official tourism data and Tourism Office content released in June 2025. If you feel like seeing only Patong on your 2026 Phuket itinerary, the Old Town could be the densest evening walk.
Why see the Old Town in the evening
The area's strengths are its well-preserved Sino-Portuguese buildings, local food, the density of shops in the alleys, and its proximity to Lard Yai, the Sunday Walking Street. It is also good for walking as the temperature is less stressful than during the day.

Points of this article
Old Town is not an area that moves at a strong tempo all night, but rather an area with a strong rhythm of walking, eating, taking photos, and resting. So, rather than forcing it on the same day as Patong, it is more satisfying to schedule a separate evening in the Old Town center.
Good schedule to put together
When combined with Tips for moving to Patong after Phuket Old Town dinner course, Phuket nightlife guide, Route of enjoying Phuket night market and nightlife, it is easy to divide the Old Town-type itinerary and Patong-type itinerary.
