Reasons to see Patong first
The Tourism Office describes Patong Beach as a hub of accommodation, large shopping facilities, restaurants and night entertainment, located about 15km from Phuket Town. In other words, it's the simplest area to check out the vibe on your first night.

In other words, it is more suitable for a tourist-type trip to mix it with a performance-type schedule rather than focusing only on bars.
